Lebanon
has been in the grip of an economic crisis for quite
some time and with the coronavirus crisis the world
recession has become even more acute. These phenomena
are common in the third world and they follow from the
pursuit of neo-liberal policies that are not concerned
about improving the conditions of the people or the
economy.
